Meet the Parents! ❤
Amber is a beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever with the most beautiful doggy smile, and we’re proud to report we’ve been told she’d make a great show dog. She and her sister, Charlotte, have been raised on our farm since they were puppies. Amber was a wild child as a growing pup, but motherhood looks good on her. Like her sister, she is gentle and protective. Paired with our ruby red cavaliers, her pups lean into the red for a light strawberry blonde/creamsicle appeal.
Gertie is in a class by herself. She is 50% Golden Retriever (Biscuit) and 50% Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Prince), and therefore, an adult Golden Cavalier. She has been our Golden Cavadoodle mama, paired with a mini Goldendoodle and a petite Golden Cavalier mama paired with Franklin. Her puppies are always a deep cinnamon/ruby color, whether Golden Cavadoodles or Petite Golden Cavaliers. She is the nurturer, the mama of all. Even as a 6-month-old puppy, she would check on other litters, making sure everyone was okay and behaving. You know the mom that's mom to the entire neighborhood? That's Gertie!
Charlotte is Amber's sister and an English Cream Golden Retriever like her sister. She and her sister, Amber, have been raised on our farm since they were puppies. Charlotte is the more serious of the two and a great mom. Like silk and steel, she's gentle and protective, with eyes that melt your heart when she leans in to be petted. Paired with our ruby red cavaliers, her pups tend to favor their mother's coloring - the yellow gold of spun silk.
Jillian has been raised on our farm since she was a puppy. Her mother is Shy Girl, one of our original Dams (Mothers) who helped start Golden Cavaliers. While mom is living la vida loca in Florida, Jillian is proud to be a mama herself and is a sweet, gentle dog. Though lighter than her mom and her sister, Tasha, her pups have a darker golden coat.
You know that burnt sugar color of the cracked creme brulee topping? That's Staci's coloring, a light mix of brown, red, and golden, and when paired with one of our ruby red cavaliers, you get a deep golden with red undertones.
Tasha is Jillian's sister and has more red in her coat, taking a bit more after her mama, Shy Girl. Like all our mamas, she loves to run, play, and be petted. Her darker coloring, paired with one of our ruby red cavaliers, will likely give her puppies a cinnamon/ruby coloring.
Lucy is a sweet mama who came to us all the way from Oklahoma! She's our gentle giant, one of the bigger mamas, but don't let her bulk fool you; she'd curl up in your lap if she could. Lucy is 65 lbs of lt golden with a ready smile and a loving personality.
Izzy has been raised on our farm since she was a puppy. She is vivacious and patient in everything she does, making her an ideal mama to her pups. Her pups lean into a darker golden coloring when paired with a ruby red cavalier.
Poppy is a beautiful Golden Retriever with deep red tones throughout her golden coat. Like many of our mother dogs, she has been raised on the farm since she was a puppy. Always grinning from ear to ear, she greets everyone with a smile and loves pets and attention. A sweet, gentle dog, she's delicate with her new puppies and will never say no to hugs and pets.
Dorito is a Golden Retriever with strong red coloring in her golden coat. She loves to run and play and always has a winning smile ready whenever you call her name.
Reenie has been raised on the farm since she was a puppy and is playful, gentle, and always grinning. She's a first-time mama and has the smartest puppies! Ok, we say that about all our mamas, but you know what we mean. She's happy, playful, and always ready for adventure.
"Every time a bell rings, an angel gets their wings". Clarence is our newest sire or will be when he gets a bit older. Like many of our dams, we raised him from puppyhood. In a bit of a switch, Clarence is a Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with lots of red in his line, so we're all waiting to see what his pups look like when paired with one of our Golden Retriever moms. Tune in 2023 to find out!
"Scratch a dog, and you'll find a permanent job." ~ Franklin P. Jones We have raised Franklin from puppyhood. He's a beautiful, classic Ruby Red Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and has already sired several litters.
"Henry Jones, Jr. That's his name. We named the dog Indiana!" Though Prince and Rufus aren't related, he looks so much like Prince he could be his "Junior," and of all our sires is the only one who has the white markings you might find on the toes or tail of your pup someday.
