The Puppy Papers | Golden Cavaliers Newsletter November 2025

Hi Fur-riends!

Autumn is well underway, leaves crunching under our feet – yellow, gold, red, and green. Do the trees know the holidays are coming? If not, our Halloween Puppy Costume Contest and KitKat’s first litter of puppies shared the spotlight on the 31st. And if you missed the contest, we’ll be doing it again next year, and perhaps a bit of costume fun for the season of giving as well!

This newsletter will be short and sweet

Halloween Puppy Contest Winner!

A big congratulations to Moose the Gravedigger! He had some fun competition, but in the end he, and his humans, won the prize; a bottle of Pupcake Spritz, and afterbath spray, to make him smell as yummy as holiday cookies throughout the upcoming season.

Do You Have Pups Available?

We do!

Tallie and Marvin’s boys, Trumpet and Treasure, will be looking for their forever homes as of November 24th. Trumpet, in the red collar, is smaller than his brother, Treasure. Trumpet is a curious, playful pup while his brother, Treasure (blue collar) is our gentle giant teddy bear. He’s a chunk of a treasure.

Other pups available through end of the year include some of KitKat’s boys, who are two weeks old as of this sending. There are four spaces available on KitKat’s list for a male puppy

Is There a Waiting List?

Yes! Since our main goal is to ensure that all puppies have forever homes to go to once they’re ready, we ask families toreserve a space to choose their puppy. This is done by completing an interview questionnaire, a buyer’s agreement, and placing a deposit (which ensures not only your spot on the reservation list, but the order in which puppies are chosen). So, when families ask us if we have available puppies, the answer will almost always be yes.

Let’s Talk Numbers or Why Isn’t Your Pricing Listed?

Though pricing can be found in the buyer’s agreement link, we’ve gone one step further and created a sell sheet to include our basic pricing for deposit, puppy, training, and delivery (transport services are 3rd party and set their own rates).

  • Golden Cavalier puppy balance (after deposit) $315
  • 4-Week Foundational Training = $2325. For every additional week of training, add $581.25.
  • Boarding only? Ask for pricing.
  • Older Puppies – generally, 15 weeks or older – Ask for pricing.

What price can you put on puppy love, the love of a companion that loves you unconditionally? We wish we didn’t have to put a price at all, but we are a small, family run business, and though we’re growing, we are a family in the truest sense of the word. Actually, we are three families in Ohio, and the rest of our team is spread around the globe. We are a local and global family all at the same time.

All of our pups are socialized with children ranging in ages from 3 to 99. For more information about what you get for the price of your puppy, we invite you to read our blogs here and here about the values and benefits you receive when you choose your fur-ever friend.
